Film premiere “Seagulls on Land” and concert by Shaka Lo-Fi Ex­per­i­ence

An event that cel­eb­rates In­ter­na­tion­al Water Day. Begins with the premiere of "Seagulls on Land", a video-per­form­ance produced by Fungo Azul – Cultural As­so­ci­ation, under dir­ec­tion of Tiago Inácio.

The session is followed by the sound-journey of Shaka’s Lo-Fi Ex­per­i­ence (Joaquim de Brito). Seagulls on Land is the result of a col­lab­or­a­tion between several artists from the Algarve, under the watchful eye of the director, cel­eb­rat­ing the natural space of the Eastern Algarve cliffs, par­tic­u­larly the Lagos coast­line. It proposes a poetic in­ter­pret­a­tion of the passing of time on these crum­bling cliffs, an erosion of memories and old child­hood hiding places. Guest per­formers inhabit these almost non-existent places, trying to find pathways to the sea through their crags and crevices. "Seagulls on Land" is a doc­u­ment­ary without words, a film without action; a fragment of a time that no longer exists.
