One Drop of Water in the Whole Wide World is an original creation by K2 Dance Company (Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal), the ensemble of young dancers of the Ginasiano School of Dance. The original text of Nuno Preto aims to provoke a message of awareness and citizenship to youngsters (3-10), about the future/dystopia reality that unveils the current lack of water resources in the global world. This presentation is the result of an intensively transdisciplinary artistic residency between Dance and Contemporary Music, which is still open, as is the end of this story. The creative process emerged among the 15 Dancers of K2 Company of Dance and the 5 percussionists of the Superior School of Music and Arts of the Spectacle of Oporto, with musical works of Alex Stopa, Owen Condon and Iannis Xenakis, among others.
